This piece belongs to a body of work built around a deliberately narrow palette — black, gold, and silver — pushed through a range of textures and techniques. Layers of gold, white, and silver acrylic, tempera, and marker build across the black ground, some areas dense and metallic, others worn back so the black underneath comes through. The result shifts with the light: quieter from a distance, more textural up close.
